Ooohhh Italy

A mural I painted for a good friend that took me a total of 20 hours with 4 hour bursts. I used exterior matte paint and this was from an image.

I really like the way it turned out, with such rich colors I have a hard time turning away from it haha.  I got to say my favorite part in painting this was the buildings and the water especially the reflections.

Large Mango Love.

A small sketch I did of one of my high school classmates. I fell in love with this pose as soon as I laid eyes on it! its so humble and pure! it has so much feeling to it, not to mention it's for a MANGO! haha I smile everytime I look at this drawing. I am so glad I got to capture this moment in my sketch.

Figuratively Speaking...

I got to say this has to be one of my best figure drawings I've done...SO FAR!
It just feels so good to see improvement, so rewarding!
A while back I heard a wonderful quote from Glen Keane, He said, "we have about 500 bad drawings in us, so the more we draw the sooner we will go though those bad drawings"
That quote has really stuck with me and when I find myself doing bad drawings I just see it as a way of learning and improving!

Richard Williams: Master of Animation

On Friday, October 4th. The day that my mind exploded with absolute goodness... to this day I still can not believe that I got to meet two of my favorite Animators, Andreas Deja and Richard Williams.

I grew up watching the works of these two INCREDIBLE/GENIUS animators and to this day my jaw drops from seeing their pencil tests! One thing that amazed me was that Richard Williams being in his 80s possesses such amazing positive energy that surrounds his whole body!! It was unbelievable! Oh, It was an absolute honor to meet Andreas and Richard, this is a memory that will always remain with me. forever. Two very humble people that I got the chance to meet. 

Amazing.
